This one-acre commercial property, located along North Tarrant Parkway in Fort Worth, is home to high-end retail. Our planners, landscape architects, and engineers worked together on a site layout to accommodate the 5,250-square-foot building located on a tight triangular lot limited by Planned Development (PD) zoning.
Our landscape architects designed a planting plan that includes Eastern Red Cedar and evergreen hollies along the circulation lane at the rear of the building to create a screening buffer for the adjoining single-family development. Additional island plantings adjacent to the parking lot create a pleasing focal point and soften the look of the triangular lot. Native plantings throughout the site provide shade and green space while meeting city landscape and urban forestry requirements.
The site was also constrained by multiple utility easements traversing the lot including a drainage easement along the property frontage carrying significant offsite stormwater. Our engineers designed the sloping site to accommodate parking, an ADA compliant route, and the circulation lane.
