Peloton provided the site civil engineering design for the new 93,500-square-foot Heritage Elementary School campus which replaced the original ageing campus built in 1987. The new two-story campus was built on a 20-acre adjacent available property without any interruption to the existing building while school remained in session. Peloton provided the engineering design, coordination, plan production, and permitting for paving, grading, water, sanitary sewer, and storm water improvements required to accommodate the new school.
The campus features a two-story central library, separate pods for special classes, classrooms organized by pod and grade level, outdoor science learning areas, think spaces, flex spaces, and cafeterias close to the administration offices to accommodate visiting parents. In addition, wide sidewalks, benches, and a covered playground were incorporated. Access and traffic flow were improved at parent pick-up and drop-off areas with increased on-site stacking space and more separated entrances and exits compared to the original campus, which was subsequently demolished.
