Callaway Golf Company’s new 783K SF distribution center in North Fort Worth, at four times the size of its existing facility, allows the company to bring their family of brands under one roof to better serve their customers. The company joins numerous national brands attracted to the fast-growing hub of logistics and transportation infrastructure in the Alliance Center North industrial development in close proximity to the Fort Worth Alliance Airport and the BNSF Railway Intermodal Facility. Our engineers performed the site design including employee parking lot, truck court, driveway connections, and utilities to serve the site. Our H&H group designed on-site storm drain using XP-SWMM dynamic modeling software, which accounts for detention storage in truck court ponding areas and allows for optimization of storm drain pipe sizes, resulting in significant cost savings. The design of infrastructure also included 2,500 linear feet of off-site drainage channels and multiple grade-control drop structures to provide safe velocities and prevent erosion.

GAIN GROUND:  Peloton Land Solutions, a Westwood company designed the 872-acre Alliance Center North development (which includes the Callaway building among several other large industrial distribution centers) at the confluence of two major drainages, Henrietta and Elizabeth Creeks. Our engineers were able to reclaim developable acres from the floodplain by connecting multiple above-ground stormwater management facilities, providing a significant cost savings.
