Amazon Delivery Station DDF5 (Alliance Center North 5)
AMAZON DELIVERY STATION DDF5 (ALLIANCE CENTER NORTH 5)
North Fort Worth, Texas
219K SF building; 63.7 acres
Peloton provided large-scale master planning and site design for two of the six new Amazon delivery stations in the Dallas-Fort Worth area which often serve as the last step in the delivery chain. The North Fort Worth location includes a 219,000-square-foot facility located in the 872-acre Alliance Center North industrial area, east of I-35W at North Beach Street and Litsey Road. Our professionals provided planning, entitlement, surveying, and engineering design including paving, grading, water, sanitary sewer, and storm drain for the site. The surrounding off-site public infrastructure, including the design of portions of Litsey Road (undivided industrial) and North Beach Street (principal arterial), was previously designed by Peloton.
At 63.7 acres, this delivery station site required an impressive amount of planning and landscape architecture design. This included berm grading and planting plans along all the frontages including I-35W, North Beach Street, and Litsey Road. Native plantings were used throughout the site including at a focal point near the facility entrance.
In urban areas, Amazon’s innovative logistics and distribution delivery stations increase the efficiency of transport by handling short-range deliveries between larger Amazon fulfillment centers and customers’ homes.
