Offsite Infrastructure
Our team of engineers, hydrologists, environmental scientists, and surveyors designed the offsite infrastructure to serve the 570K SF Amazon Air Regional Hub at Alliance Airport. This included the design of 2,800 linear feet of regional water lines; 4,100 linear feet of regional sanitary sewer lines; two detention ponds totaling a combined volume of 71 acre-feet; and a 3,000-linear-foot drainage channel.
These offsite improvements were strategically designed to account for upstream developments and future growth. Our hydrologists prepared a Letter of Map Revision (LOMR) for a tributary to Henrietta Creek that runs along the western side of Alliance Airport to update its current location on the FEMA map. The LOMR was approved by FEMA, removing the floodplain from developed and developable areas of the airport and accurately reflecting current conditions of the stream.
