Peloton Land Solutions, a Westwood company is the planner and engineer of record for AllianceTexas, a 27,000-acre master-planned, mixed-use development by Hillwood. The project’s foundation is the Alliance Global Logistics Hub, offering inland port transportation options via one of the nation’s largest intermodal yards, BNSF Railway and Union Pacific main rail lines, Fort Worth Alliance Airport (the world’s first 100 percent industrial airport), and connecting state and interstate highways. Stemming from this strong commercial base are corporate campuses, office complexes and tech centers, destination retail and entertainment venues, residential housing, schools, churches, and community shopping.
We have a dedicated team of 20 professionals working on the AllianceTexas program providing planning, entitlement, civil engineering, land survey, water resources, landscape architecture, and environmental consulting services. This support ranges from high-level, strategic planning to site-specific engineering services. Our team updates the master infrastructure budget (MIB) for AllianceTexas on an annual basis which includes current infrastructure and preliminary, feasibility-level engineering to evaluate the necessary future infrastructure and associated costs. The MIB process helps Hillwood accurately estimate development costs which informs their business plans and keeps the economics of projects in line with current prices.
This development has had a $109B economic impact since 1990 with 13,450 single-family homes; 2,475 multi-family units; and 550+ companies, including Facebook, Charles Schwab, and Amazon Air. An estimated 53M SF of space has been developed including industrial, office, retail, training/education, data center, medical office, and hospitality.
