Once again, Peloton is raising money for the March of Dimes and will be walking in the annual March for Babies on April 21st in Fort Worth. In addition to individually donating to the cause, our employees (and generous partners like Hillwood) graciously donated items for our silent auction this week. With 20 items up for auction, we raised $1000 in only a few days (with very competitive bidding in the last hour).
“We’re having a lot of fun and getting quite creative with our fundraising events,” said Chelsea Lemons, a planner in our Fort Worth office who is spearheading the charity event for Peloton. “In addition to the silent auction, we are hosting lunch and dinner events at local restaurants who have offered to donate a percentage of proceeds when Peloton staff dines at their location. But we’re probably most excited for our next fundraiser which may prove to be the biggest one yet, the Great Haircut/Shave for Babies competition.” Two members of Peloton’s leadership team are participating in this contest. One of them has agreed to a haircut if he wins, and the other to shave his beard. Employees are voting by donating money to either (or both) of the contestants.
All fundraising efforts help the March of Dimes non-profit organization to expand programs that make sure moms and babies get the best possible care, advocate for policies that prioritize their health, and fund research to find solutions to the biggest health threats. Consider marching with us to lead the fight for the health of all moms and babies.
