Peloton engineer, Chuck Lamping, and his Leadership Frisco Class XX classmates celebrated the completion of their class project, Meals on the Move, by unveiling the donation of a new box truck to be used exclusively by Frisco Fastpacs. The local North Texas non-profit delivers weekend meals to more than 700 students in need at 43 Frisco Independent School District schools each week. Without the truck, volunteers made multiple weekly trips to pick up food and deliver donations, limiting their ability to expand to meet the needs of the growing community.
Leadership Frisco is a nine-month community leadership program sponsored by the Frisco Chamber of Commerce. The purpose is to develop a pool of qualified, highly motivated individuals who are interested in expanding their leadership skills, deepening their sense of civic responsibility, and becoming more involved in their community as a whole.
