Peloton is excited to support the Greater San Marcos Partnership (GSMP) in achieving its Vision 2020 Strategy, a new five-year, sustainable economic development plan directing the activities and programs of the region. The GSMP is a public-private partnership that serves as the regional economic development organization for the city of San Marcos, and Hays and Caldwell Counties, located at the heart of the Austin-San Antonio Corridor. As part of a comprehensive effort to make the community as competitive as possible for new jobs, talent, and corporate investment, the GSMP has launched Vision 2020 to enhance economic development activities and programs in the area.
“Our client reach in the Austin-area continues to grow exponentially,” said Peloton CEO and President Aric Head. “We have strong leadership and a well-equipped team in Austin who appreciate the significance of community partnerships. Peloton is proud to be a part of the GSMP.”
The Greater San Marcos Region is ideally located on the IH-35 corridor just 30 miles south of Austin and 40 miles north of San Antonio, two of the fastest growing Metropolitan Statistical Areas (MSA’s) in the U.S. and the fastest growing region in Texas.
